Why Air Jordan 6 Is Perfect for Active Kids
The Air Jordan 6 was built for performance – and that makes it perfect for active kids who play sports or just love to run around. The reinforced toe cap protects little toes from stubbing and extends the life of the shoe. The heel pull tab (or "spoiler") makes it easy for kids to pull the shoe on by themselves. The translucent outsole provides excellent traction on gym floors, playgrounds, and pavement. The padded collar and tongue keep feet comfortable during long days of activity. The shoe is also relatively easy to clean – leather wipes down, and the outsole can be scrubbed. For another durable kids' model, check out Kids' Air Jordan 7.
Best Air Jordan 6 Colorways for Kids
"Infrared" (black, red, and white) is the most iconic Air Jordan 6 colorway – kids love the pop of infrared against the black upper. "Carmine" (white, red, and black) is another favorite – the white leather with red accents looks fresh and clean. "Olympic" (white, navy, red, and gold) is patriotic and perfect for summer. "Black Infrared" (black and red) is a tuffer, more understated option. For younger kids, there are also brighter colorways with blue, green, or pink accents. How to Find the Right Fit for Kids' Air Jordan 6
The Air Jordan 6 runs true to size but has a snug heel fit – if your child's heel slips, try a smaller size. The toe box is roomy, which is good for growing feet. The leather upper is stiff at first but will break in after a few wears. Have your child wear thick socks during the break-in period to prevent blisters. Measure your child's foot length and add 0.5-1 cm of growing room. For more sizing tips, see Kids' Air Jordan 5.
