Initially released back in 2015 as a remastering of the original ‘Oreo’ 4 that hit the court in 1999. This iteration of the Jordan 4 Oreo comes complete with a series of material upgrades that elevate the style to new heights. Aesthetically reminiscent of its namesake and in keeping with the shoe’s original stylings, the ‘cookies and cream’ inspired speckling across the shoe’s midsole is one of many highlights of this design. The patented and customary Jordan 4 upper remains largely intact, albeit on this model comprised almost entirely of black tumbled leather that is perforated in places to improve the shoe’s overall level of breathability and comfort. This release is a retooling more than a reimagining, and so is complete with all the expected Jordan details including molded eyelets, Nike Air padding at the heel, and the iconic Jumpman logo that acts as a seal of approval for this exceptional shoe.
